ARC Dual Enrollment Course Offerings
Dual Enrollment Overview
Dual Enrollment gives students an opportunity to take college courses and earn college credit while also fulfilling high school graduation requirements. SJUSD and American River College have partnered to offer a variety of courses. Each course will give both high school and college credit simultaneously. The courses will be added to your Choices transcript and GPA as weighted credits and each semester Dual Enrollment course receives 10 high school credits. ARC timelines, such as course withdrawal, must be honored and withdrawal or failing grades will be permanent on the student's college transcript. Dual Enrollment courses are offered at no cost to students.
- Dual Enrollment allows students to earn college and high school credit simultaneously.
- Students must be enrolled in a minimum of five courses at Choices to be eligible for Dual Enrollment.
- Classes are free.
- Applications must be submitted by the student and signed by a parent/guardian and the school counselor.
- Dual Enrollment students are eligible to take any of the courses listed below.
