Hello Senior Students,

Reminder: you must sign out in person Monday, June 8th - Thursday, June 11th from the hours of 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. This will require that you have completely finished all of your classes with passing grades!

Upon completion and sign-out, you will receive your cap and gown, as well as your graduation tickets. Please don't forget to return any technology that you have checked out from the school. If not returned, this will prevent you from receiving your diploma.

Mandatory Rehearsal begins at 3:00 p.m. on June 12th, 2026 at the El Camino Center for the Arts.

• Seniors need to be in the Center for the Arts at 3:00 so we can run through the program and ensure all graduates are familiar with the seating and processional plans.
• Caps and gowns must be worn and should be fully zipped up.
• Writing on top of a cap is OK and must be respectful and flat (no 3D elements).
• Decorative necklaces and leis are OK.
• CA assembly bills (AB 1248 & AB 945) give students the right to wear tribal regalia to commencement ceremonies. California Education Code § 35183.1 specifically protects students’ right to wear “traditional tribal regalia or recognized objects of religious or cultural significance as an adornment at school graduation ceremonies.”

• All guests (including children) must have tickets, and we ask that they be ready to turn in upon entering. 6 tickets per family.
• We ask that all balloons, flowers, signs, banners, or anything that can disrupt the view of other guests be left in the foyer of the building.
• Please do not bring horns or noise makers to the ceremony.
• Seniors will be directed to the back of the stage immediately following the ceremony to pick up their diplomas.
• Graduates who have borrowed technology or a cap and gown need to turn it in to receive their diploma.
